October 9th - October 15th, 2022
We have reached the halfway point of my Practicum and I had a Zoom meeting with my Practicum Advisor and one of the individuals that is working on the Dear Mr. Meredith project. I zip filed the 75 letters that I have completed so far and emailed them because the team gave a presentation about the project and wanted to use some of the letters that I had transcribed.
It was great to hear how the letters would be used in the future and get a look at what the interactive map will eventually look like.
The University of Mississippi had a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the integration and Mr. Meredith attended the event and was presented with the Mississippi Humanitarian Award.
