GAME. CHANGER.

September 4th - September 10th, 2022

One of the hardest parts of transcribing from home is that I have been doing it from my laptop with one screen. This meant that I had to go back and forth between the pdf of the letter and the Word doc that I was transcribing the letter to. If I used split screen with the pdf on half the screen and the Word doc on the other screen, I wouldn't be able to really the see the letter. Most of the time I need to zoom in on the pdf to be able to read the handwriting on the letter. I quickly figured out that trying to transcribe the letters with one screen would just take too long and I purchased a second screen that could be flipped to portrait mode.

When I tell you how giddy I was to start using the screen!! It made my work so much easier and I was able to transcribe letters so much faster! So if you are doing any type of transcription work, I highly recommend getting a second screen, especially one that can rotated!
